A Forever Champion for Children
My mom often told me that the greatest president in her lifetime “is” President Jimmy Carter. “Just a really good man with a heart of gold. My mom loved him because of his devotion to helping all of mankind. He lives his life with meaning and on purpose. I spent a great deal of my time as a teacher and nonprofit founder and leader studying the life of our 39th President. What caught my eye and won my heart was the work he has done for Habitat for Humanity. Because of President Carter, I have answered the question ” Why am I here?” I’m here to serve children. I believe I have been put here to help equip children to be the best person they can be. As a result, I have devoted my life to ending childhood obesity. My dream is to install my K.I.S.S. Clubs in schools across America. I believe that play is the birthright of all children and that we could end obesity, loneliness, and depression by bringing “free” play back to schools and communities nationwide.
